My Favourite Pillow to Ease Neck and Shoulder Pain

For years I have suffered with shoulder and neck pain when trying to sleep, and I would often wake up with my head falling off the pillow, which would trigger my vertigo.

Last year I invested in my first V pillow. I was looking at the massive U shaped pregnancy pillows, as I heard from others they are good for chronic pain. But I only have a single bed and there would be no space for me. Also I move around a lot in my sleep, so it wouldn’t be ideal and I think it would be a little restrictive.

V pillow on my single bed. Fits perfectly

I bought a cheap V pillow off Amazon to trial and see if it made a difference and it really did. I could move around in my sleep and not lose the pillow, could curl up and still keep my head high enough to avoid the dreaded vertigo.

I invested in a better V pillow to last longer and I now have a Teddy Fleece V Pillow for the colder weather, which is so comfortable I will never be able to go back to a normal pillow again!

Soft and comfortable. Perfect for me

The fleece pillow feels like I’m sleeping on a cloud, and it is so warm and soft on my face. My neck and shoulder pain is far more manageable at nighttime and I can get comfortable a lot quicker than before.

V Pillows are also great for having upright and sitting up in bed, supporting your back while you read or watch TV.

If you are thinking about changing your pillow, I would definitely recommend V Pillows as for me they make a massive difference.

    1. Depends where you are based. I’m in the UK and the first tried one I got from Amazon on the cheap to make sure it worked for me. I have more recently bought from Marks and Spencer and The Range. I have found that most places that sell pillows now have V Pillows too. I usually pay around £20 for one and it lasts me a good 6-12 months.
