The worst flare days
Are the ones you don’t expect
They creep up silently
Then pounce and cause devastation
The worst flare days
Are when you wake up
And you just know
Everywhere hurts and you have no energy
The worst flare days
Are depressing at best
They cancel all your plans
And make you feel useless

The worst flare days
I can barely leave my bed
I have no energy
To even do the simplest of tasks
The worst flare days
Feel like they will never end
They are wasted and irritating
But all you can do is wait it out
The worst flare days
Will end eventually
You will have better days
You can get through this
Hi Bethan, great to read your poem fibro flares. it tells it how it is. you always give such clear explanations and I love how it is in a poem

Thank you so much! Sometimes I just have to write down my feelings to help me understand them x
