Nobody deserves to have a chronic illness
I wouldn’t even wish it on my worst enemy
But if someone has to live with it
Then I’ll take one for the team
I must be super strong to be given this curse
To be able to fight it every day of my life
Somehow I’m still alive today
I’ll always get through even the worst day
But I do wish they felt it all for just a moment
Felt what we go through every single day
Only then would they understand
Just how much we suffer
