One Day at a Time

This is a song I wrote a couple of years ago. I sing it on the bad days to keep me going ♥️

I’ve been lying awake all night wondering how it came to light

I’ve been telling myself nothing’s wrong when nothing’s going right

I’ve been waiting around trying to figure out what the day will bring

And I’ve been working non stop never thinking about how to live today

Live for today not tomorrow

Live for today not yesterday

Don’t waste your time worrying about life

Just take it one day at a time

Now I’m sleeping at night waking up fresh and ready to live life

Taking every day as it comes and smiling all the way

It’s all the little things in life that make me happy to be here

And I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world

Don’t ask me cause I will say no

Live for today not tomorrow

Now I’m not giving out all that I’ve found

My new sense of life has given me happiness

Nobody can take it away from me

Taking a new perspective on life
