I dream of being free from this pain
Of sleeping and feeling refreshed
Of finding a cure and getting better
I dream of a life without worry
Where I hope for the future
Where I don’t fear for my health
I dream of the day I will be believed
When doctors won’t roll their eyes
When they will offer to help
I dream that others will understand
What I go through each day
They will listen and try to help
I dream that I will not be a burden
That I will be able to look after myself
And look forward to my future
